Character Name: Selena Atkinson, dhampir
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Race: Dhampir
Element (Only for Moroi): None
Appearance: Selena has chocolate brown wavy hair with a side fringe. She has thin eyebrows. Her eyes are an azure blue colour. Her nose is thin and her lips are a pinky colour. Her head is an oval shape.
Selena is about 5"5 tall. She is slim and has olive coloured skin. Her figure is one to die for. One that most girls envy.
Personality: Feminist, isn't afraid to express her opinion, quiet and reserved around strangers, loud and confident around friends, creative, artistic, resilient, defensive, sensitive, kind and just tells everything like it is (no sugarcoating)
History: Selena had a pretty bad childhood, being emotionally abused by her parents. The reason? She was an accident. Because she was the unwanted child in her family she had been threatened to be disowned and kicked out of the house many times. Although she has a smile on her face when you see her at school or at the shops, she is still suffering from her emotional scars.
Selena moved out when she was 13 and lived on the streets. By living on the streets she has learned a variety of ways to defend herself from rapists and other dangers to a young teenager. She was on the streets until she was 15. She was put into foster care. On her 16th birthday she was adopted by her much more caring grandparents.
Now Selena is a much more positive person thanks to 6 months of therapy. She has gone from an unhappy outsider on the verge of contemplating suicide to an optimist.
